Holiday Camps will still look a little different for 2021, with Social Distancing in place for much of the non-playing aspect of camps, we will be able to add in some competitive games and matches within each of the bubbles we are creating. We are also remaining outside for these camps with safety in mind reducing C-19 risks instead of booking an indoor venue to host like with previous years. The only indoor aspect of the camp, we are hoping (weather permitting), will be staggerred snack and 'warm-up' breaks for each of the bubbles. With indoor spaces at Cressex not available for us over prolonged periods of time, we feel a shorter camp this time round is safer for all and will be jam packed with football for the whole timing! What to bring?
- IMPORTANT: Rubber Moulded Studded Boots/Astro Trainers | NO NORMAL TRAINERS PERMITTED
- Cold Weather training kit. Include gloves, snoods, hats etc.
- Labellled Packed Lunch and Drinks Bottle
This will take place with head coach Adam, and will include hand sanitising. Children will then be taken to their own spacious waiting area and informed of the structure of their session along with others from their year group. De-registration (including hand-sanitising) will take place in this same area at the end of the mini-camp.
ALL sessions will have social distancing in place but we will be trying to add a competitive element to the drills and games we conduct. New guidlines do allow us the opportunity to create some contact within sessions and the use of small sided games within each group. Sessions will include five parts:
-Speed, Agility & Quickness Games and Drills
-Passing & Receiving
-Shooting Games & Drills
-Small Sided Games
Health & Safety?
We will have hand sanitizer for use before and after our sessions, and all equipment will be cleaned prior to any sessions. We will each have our own face mask and gloves in any first aid cases, which we see very low risk due to the nature of the sessions. Wear appropriate clothing for weather conditions and correct footwear (see picture), we will continue in the event of any rain. Toilet breaks will be available and we will have a designated coach to support this so the groups can continue their football.
The location offers lots of space for spectators to view the sessions from the concreate area. Perfect to view your child’s session, but also allows lots of room for parents to also view safely following social distance rules. Please use this space only to view from and set the same example to the children we will be installing through the sessions.

Summer Half Term | Create Your Own Bubble | 1st - 4th June
Full Refunds will only be issued when AJD Football Coaching cancel an advertised Camp. In all other cases a credit note will be available for parents/children that confirm their cancellation 24 hours prior to the start date of the Camp. Without notification of a wish to cancel a place on the Camp, no refund/credit note can be issued.
